Community Liaison Committees

Mandate

The Brunswick Pipeline Community Liaison Committees (CLCs) serve a very important role in facilitating two-way communication between local communities and Brunswick Pipeline.

Objectives

  • Serve as a forum for open dialogue between Emera Brunswick Pipeline and community interests.
  • Complement other Brunswick Pipeline communication processes and increase public awareness with respect to the safe and efficient operations of the pipeline.
  • Increase community awareness of operations and provide opportunties for members to share community needs and concerns.

Membership

Community membership will provide for equitable representation of community interests within the geographic area of the Community Liasion Committees. Each Community Liaison Committee – Saint John and Southwest NB – will be comprised of individuals who have the background and experience to enable them to help Emera Brunswick Pipeline Company obtain a broader understanding of the needs and concerns of the general public, especially at the local level.
